ADAM FENIX IS SKORGE?
OP: He looks a lot like him and becuz the queen mirah is in love with marcus fenix dad I think she turned him into a locust and gave him her chainsaw so he could protect her forever.
It actually makes quite a bit of sense!
First off, read THIS
My current theory is that Adam Fenix is wretch. There are many clues, but most importantly, when the WMD goes off at the end of GoW3, Adam dies...like a wretch.
Also wretches look like baby Kantus's. (Kanti, whatever)
I believe that Adam Fenix was in-fact wretch. He then grew up to be a Kantus. As you stated, Myrrah loved Adam, and probably promoted him to leader. He then requested a name change so that his son wouldn't find out.
You may be saying, "Chaps, you're brilliant! But...Skorge dies at the end of GoW2, and we see Adam in GoW3"
I believe that the failed lightmass bomb in GoW1 made a ripple in the space/time continuum. This ripple allows for both forms of Adam to be present at the same time.
Oh...and maybe Skorge didn't die at the end of GoW2....and disguised himself as Adam again in GoW3. Yes...the Devs said that skorge was confirmed to have died....but they were probably just trolling us....they don't know anything!
I think OP is on to something, and your theory, Chaps, is quite interesting, but some of your assumptions are incorrect.
First off, the plural of Kantus is technically Kantice, but everyone knows that more than one Kantus are called Spongies. If you're interested, the term for a group or gathering of Spongies is called a Ragequit.
Secondly, Lightmass bombs are all continuum-corrected, which means they do not produce ripples.
And thirdly, Devs, while troll-like in many ways, are more closely related to the common hamster.
That being said, I believe you are on to something with your multiple-reality theory, and that those multiple realities are in fact the result of a confluence of the super-imposed states of Wretch and Phone onto Adam Fenix. As I theorized in the link you provided, the result of that superposition would have to be two realities each corresponding to one of the states of Adam Fenix - and, based on Joshy's observations, it is very possible that Skorge is the Wretch-state form of Adam Fenix. It also seems quite likely that Gears 3 takes place in a separate reality from Gears 2 - as evidenced by the fact that Dom is a normal Latin-American male in Gears 2 and appears to be some species of bearded Yeti in Gears 3. Thus, by process of elimination, we can assume that the Adam Fenix we interact with in Gears 3 is Phone. Indeed, the majority of the interaction we have with him over the course of Gears 3 is via some kind of video-communication device, be it live or pre-recorded.
Now let us consider the facts. While it has not been officially confirmed, it seems very unlikely that Skorge survived the end of Gears 2 - there's just no way anyone could survive a fall from that height without their knee pads, and the fact that he has not appeared as a playable character in any games since would seem to confirm this theory. However, Skorge is a Kantus after all, and it is well known that Spongies are Spongy as f@#k and never f@#king die, therefore Skorge must also be alive. On the other hand, Adam Fenix cannot be alive because we saw him die at the end of Gears 3, but he is also not dead, because I played as him on UE last week, and he was very much alive and definitely not Skorge.
As you can see, it is still impossible to tell which is Adam Fenix Wretch or Phone, even after observing the individual states of Adam Fenix. Indeed, this would appear to countermand the parts of my previous theory suggesting that Marcus observed the proper state of Adam Fenix and successfully answered the question, which again raises the question of whether everything is Wretch or Phone.
In conclusion, while it is an interesting theory you have Chaps, I don't believe we have enough information yet to safely answer the question. The more we attempt to find an answer, the more it seems as if the Question is, in fact, unanswerable.
While you're theory does seem very sound, and I am quite satisfied with it, I found 1 problem....maybe?
"On the other hand, Adam Fenix cannot be alive because we saw him die at the end of Gears 3, but he is also not dead, because I played as him on UE last week, and he was very much alive and definitely not Skorge."
UE takes place before GoW3, doesn't it....so Adam could be alive in UE. That is of course assuming that you are using the assumption that GoW:UE is a remake of GoW1.
That said, these forums have provided a substantial amount of arguments about GoW:UE in-fact NOT being like GoW1.
If they're theory is correct, it is only safe to assume that GoW:UE takes place in an alternate dimension or alternate timeline. This is where I thought that the resonator/lightmass time-ripples came into play; but as you said, it was designed to prevent such an occurrence.
In this alternate timeline/dimension, GoW:UE could in-fact take place post-GoW3.
I think we may be on to something here. I will go re-evaluate my research and see what I come up with.
If we put our heads together, we may be able to have this conundrum figured out by the 27th of December 2019 (if my calculations are correct).
Carry on my good sir!
So....after some research, I may be on to something...
You are correct that all lightmass bombs are continuum-correcting. However, my research shows nothing about the resonator that was used being corrected. I'm unsure if at this point (on the main-timeline...not the alternate one) if the continuum-correcting technology could have been incorporated into the resonator. Along with that....this resonator wasn't exactly the most stable things. So even if the technology was included, it may have not functioned fully.
Here is some of my supporting evidence:
In GoW1, the resonator was nowhere to be seen, almost like it was in Cole's pocket....but it's too big for that.
My belief is that GoW1 and GoW:UE are BOTH on separate timelines, neither of which is the primary timeline. I believe that in the main timeline (which to this day still hasn't been explored) they detonated the resonator, but it glitched, and created these slips in space-time. Obviously said slips would cause slight changes in the other (parallel) universes.
One of the primary changes that happened was causing the resonator in the GoW1 universe to slip from existence, and then reappear when they were in the hollow.
The next instance, is when the resonator glitches from existence in GoW:UE. Cole clearly is carrying it on his back, but in some cases you clearly see that it has disappeared. I cannot yet determine if this is due to a glitch in the original timeline, the GoW1 timeline, or a glitch in some yet undiscovered timeline.

Assuming I have not missed anything, it seems that a faulty resonator seems to have created a butterfly effect in some of the other universes.
This leaves me with a few other thoughts.
Now, I beg of you...all of you....please look into this.
Swartz, I call you out personally because you are the most notorious and experienced Adam Fenix theorist/historian known to man.
I beg of you, please continue your research and get back to me.
